Text	The rumor that Bradley and Miller have been engaged to pitch and catch for the Philadelphia next season is hardly credible. They have been well treated in St. Louis, and are aware that the club with which they are now connected has been established for all time, while it is not unlikely that the Pearls may disband at any moment. The gamblers who back the Philadelphia nine are noted for their shabby treatment of the players when the game does not got their way.
