Text	The fence on the left side of the Boston grounds has been improved by being surmounted with slats which increase the height about four feet. This will obviate the necessity of a new rule in regard to balls “over the fence,” as the latter will now be of very rare occurrence, and when made will undoubtedly entitle the striker to the full benefit thereof.
