Text | No nine in the country has improved so steadily, and at the same time so decidedly, as the Atlantics have done under the watchful care of Mr. Ferguson. With all the disadvantages to contend against of an impoverished exchequer, and consequently a very limited number of players to make a selection from, they have worked indefatigably to resuscitate the character and standing of their club until they have arrived at a position second to but few of the contestants for the champion pennant. |
