Text | The Providence base ball club was fully organized last night. ... A committee of the board was appointed to visit Boston, to consult with Harry Wright, and the managers of the Lowells on the advisability of joining the League Association. The popular feeling among the stockholders in Providence is in favor of the International, they fearing the League is trying to shut out eastern clubs from extensive practice, and thus have a better opportunity of getting away with them. |
