Text | The Mutual club, of New York, is making extensive preparations for the coming season. They have rented three large rooms in which will be billiard tables, the papers containing intelligence of our great National Game, Cricket, etc., etc., and everything else that tends to make the eyes twinkle for the stomach shake with delight will be there in abundance. The rooms are above the Olympic Theatre, and are under the charge of John Wildey, president of the club. Everything has been removed from the old rooms at the “Study” in Hudson street, to the new ones. The house will be the headquarters of all base ball visitors to New York. |
