Text | The [Mansfield] grounds are enclosed, and that is all that can be said for it as a ball field. From the catcher to the outfield the ground gradually raises, and this, in addition to hills and hollows in the infields, makes it next to impossible to properly gauge a ball or handle it with any precision. |
