Text	We notice in the proceedings of the State Legislature at Albany, that the Knickerbocker Base Ball Club of this city has been chartered [i.e. incorporated]. The object of this, we believe, is to enable them to secure from the Central Park Commissioners jurisdiction over the ground to be allotted for base ball players.
