Text | [reporting on the NL meeting 12/4/1877 - 12/6/1877] After considering the Cincinnati application, the Board adopted a resolution recommending its admission, and adding that it had honorably and faithfully carried out its contract with the League,–which was, in effect, that it should take up the schedule where Si Keck’s burst-up dropped it and carry it through. This had been doing under an agreement that, in case of fulfillment, the Club should be admitted to the League; therefore the admission was only formal. |
