Text | The latest failure reported is that of the Allegheny. The management of this club appears to have played a nice little game. Entering for the championship, they take the club on a tour, receive the $75 guarantee at each place, and then, on their return home after a few games, disband, leaving the visiting clubs who expect their $75 in return to whistle for the money. |
