Text | [Athletic vs. Forest City of Cleveland 9/14/1871] C. M. Holly, of the Niagara Club, of Buffalo, was selected as the umpire, which proved to be a very judicious selection, his strictness in calling balls and strikes and his perfect impartiality giving entire satisfaction to all concerned. |
