Text	President Stern yesterday received a telegram from the Indianapolis Journal asking him if he intended to vote in favor of reducing the League circuit and freezing Indianapolis out of the League. President Stern at once replied that Cincinnati owed its position in the League to the Indianapolis Club, and that he was not ungrateful enough to treat Mr. Brush so shabbily. President Stern also added that he was in favor of retaining Indianapolis in order to have Mr. Brush’s wise counsels and hustling ability. He believes that he is one of the brightest of League magnates. If the League had six more men of the caliber of Messrs. Stern and Brush there would be no Brotherhood.
