Text | We have very good reports of the spirit evidenced by the ball players of Baltimore. The Excelsior club has set a very good example to insure punctual attendance of its members on field days. As soon as any member becomes inattentive, or misses two regular play-days, without a good and sufficient excuse for his absence, his name is dropped from the roll; and applications for membership are so numerous that the club is always full. Several of the best cricketers in Baltimore have recently joined the Excelsiors. |
