Text | On Wednesday evening last, the stockholders of the Star Club assembled at the Empire House to consider the question of sustaining a ball club in this city. Much to the surprise of many, it was found that the Star Club has thus far paid expenses, and that the prospect for a surplus in the treasury at the end of the season is very good., quoting the Syracuse Times |
