Text | For a consideration of $1,000 the lease of the ground at the northeast corner of Broad and Dauphin streets was transferred to the Brotherhood base ball club yesterday. George McKay & Company, the lessees, had an unexpired term of three years to run, but all claims were relinquished on the payment of the above mentioned sum and the moving expenses, amounting to about $500. The firm will locate at Twenty-seventh and Diamond streets and erect an office and a number of sheds. |
