Text | Anson was fined $20 for “bulldozing” the umpire in the last inning of the Boston-Chicago game at Boston, Mass., on May 29. a few more fines by McLean would stop the Chicagos' habit of running into basemen, as Gore is said to have done to Dunlap three times in three Cleveland games. |
