Text | Nash, the great third baseman, and Johnson, the heavy hitting outfielder, of the Virginia Club, have been released, the Bostons having secured them for $1,250. The Virginia Club has secured Tomney and Parker, of the Lancaster, to take their places. They will probably receive much less salary and this bonus will enable the club to play the season out. |
