Text | [from Chadwick's column] I was very glad to meet Mr. Hough, of the North American, in New York. Harrry Wright spoke to me in the highest terms of his impartiality as a base ball critic, and of the interest he took in the game. Before this, however, I had read several articles of his, which had impressed me with the truth of what Harry confirmed. Such writers, I regret to say, are rather scarce in the base ball world. |
