Text	[from the Melbourne correspondent] I have received several letters from players in the United States who want to come out here and play. They offer to sign for sums varying from $250 to $400 per month. Now, the people here are purely amateur, and I want to tell the boys, through your paper, that they are better off where they are. There is no money yet in playing the game here, and I would not advise any of them to come here on the chance of getting a place to work.
