Text | The rule putting a man out on a foul ball is ridiculous and should be abolished, as well as the rule that puts a runner out for not running back to his base on a foul ball. The rule putting a player out on a foul bound should also be done away with, and the game made that of a fly game entirely. These are the principal objections made to the rules now in force. |
