Text | The Worcesters received $270 as their share of the gate-receipts in the game with the Eckfords at New Orleans, La., on Jan. 4. Manager Bancroft is endeavoring to arrange games in Galveston and Houston, Tex., and, after returning to New Orleans, and playing one or more games there, he will wend his way homeward, playing in Mobile, Montgomery, Ala.; Augusta, Atlanta, Macon, Savannah, Ga.; and Charleston, S.C., where he will take steamer for New York. |
