Text | The rule governing the delivery of the ball will not allow it to be delivered from any position above the hip, or at the side of the body. To comply with this rule pitchers will have to deliver the ball with the arm swinging close to the body. None of the professional pitchers will be affected by this rule, which will, however, cause the ruling out, as unfair, the delivery of a great many amateurs. |
