Text | One thing which the reporter has taken without question, on the dictum of Secretary Young, is a peculiar innovation in making up pitchers’ and catchers’ records. Mr. Young says that neither passed balls nor wild pitches should be counted in”total number of chances,” and they are therefore omitted, to the special advantage of Messrs. McVey, Bradley, and Anson. |
