Text | If this [the Big Four being free agents] is the case Detroit will get nothing for the $7,000 except Buffalo's franchise for which she has several offers which she hopes to sell to advantage. It is by no means certain, however, that Detroit's expectations even in this quarter will be realized, as the point has been raised that the franchise cannot be transferred without the unanimous consent of the League, which reserves to itself the right to decide what cities may obtain membership. |
