Text | Zettlein has a bad habit, and it is one that is common to Chicago players, which should be corrected, and if in no other way, a fine should be imposed upon him whenever he commits it. That is, if he hits a ball to the infield he halts to see if it is handled, and if it is, he makes no start for first. This is a grave error, and in addition to rankling the spectators, has a demoralizing effect upon the players. |
