Text | [from the Pittsburgh correspondent] It is now Ex-President Nimick, for the base ball season at least. As President Nimick explained matters the other day:-- “You know my other business matters take up nearly all my time and I really have had to neglect them just to pay a little attention to base ball. I found out lately that I couldn't handle it with any degree of satisfaction, so I turned it over to Mr. O'Neill. He has nothing on hand for the present and is a great enthusiast on the game, so I feel certain the affairs of the club will not suffer during his administration. He will take charge of the tam and will likely go on the road and watch everything. Mr. O'Neill is determined to have a winning team. We have already lost $13,000, but are not alarmed.” The Sporting Life May 17, 1890 Mr. Nimick, of Pittsburg, is no longer a League magnate. He has written a long letter to President N. E.
