Text | It is true that some of the minor leagues pay as large salaries to good men as the major organizations, but the leagues which are doing so are losing money by the thousands, and are slowly fading away, and in the opinion of shrewd observers it is only a question of time when baseball in the minor leagues will get down to hard pan, and the number of such organizations will fall away to almost nothing. |
