Text | At a meeting of the Lowell Base Ball Association this evening [9/2], it was voted to continue the organization during the present month, provided satisfactory arrangements can be made by the directors with the players. The present indebtedness of the association is $1752.80, and there is but $368.82 in the treasury, leaving a deficit of $1203.94. a committee of 20 was chosen to solicit subscriptions from stockholders and the public to pay the indebtedness. |
