Text | [from Caylor's column] Mr. day is a member of the League committee on the revision of rules, and we had a talk on the subject. I didn't find him an enthusiast. Indeed, he expressed grave doubts that the committee would ever agree. He told me, however, that Lawyer Rogers, of Philadelphia, has been busy looking over the two sets of rules and recodifying them. In that event the country is safe, for John I. is a hustler. |
