Text	According to Mr. N. E. Young, the Championship Committee propose giving the whip pennant to the club winning the most, and losing the lowest of the match games played during the series, settling their contest for the best three in five. By this rule, if a club wins their three games in succession, only three games are counted, and if they lose two before winning the three, then five games count. This is what we have always claimed was the only interpretation of the rules; but we do not agree with Mr. Young’s estimate as to the Chicago having the best position, as excluding the Eckford and Kekionga games, and also the games forfeited by the Rockfords from playing Hastings, we find the record stands...
