Text | Horace Phillips also takes a hand in the discussion over scoring rules. He thinks it would be better if the old system of outs and runs were printed and do away with the base hit and error columns. He don't go much on records, anyhow. It is the runs that count, no matter how they are made, and if players would look at it in the same light some of them would win more games than they do. |
