Text | Horace R. Phillips, formerly manager and catcher of the Zephyr B.B.C., sailed for Europe on Saturday, August 1st, in the steamship Samaria, of the Cunard line. Having received an offer in the office of a large shipping firm in Liverpool, he goes there to take the position. He expects to return to Philadelphia during the Centennial, providing his duties in Liverpool do not detain him. He will be accompanied by J. J. Dunn, of Star B.B.C., of Syracuse, N.Y. |
