Text | In the association constitution of 1887 article 65 provided that “postponed games might be played off at any time prior to the 17th day of October.” It appears that this clause, though not embodied in the revised constitution by specific date, has, by tacit consent, been continued in force ever since, and consequently, though the scheduled season, under the constitution, extends only to the 14th of October, the three days’ grace for the playing off of postponed games still exists. |
