Text	Manager Mutrie has this to say about his management of the New Yorks: “I lay no restrictions whatever on the drinking, the outgoing or the incoming of my team. If I were to attempt to control them in the matter of drink, I should be forced to the necessity of dogging them eternally and forcing them up back alleys into speak easies. My men will come into a saloon while I am there, step up to the bar, take a drink, and act as if I were in no way concerned in them. I find the plan an admirable one, as I have yet to reprimand a man for either drinking to excess or remaining out at night beyond reasonable hours.
