Text | [from J. F. Donnally's column] The Brooklyn Club was presented with two magnificent on Saturday last. They are of heavy crimson silk, with the word “Brooklyn” in raised gold embroidered letters, and are mounted on ebony poles and surmounted by eagles of heavy gold plate. The gift was a generous one, the donors being true and tried friends of base ball and “rooters” for the Brooklyn Club. |
