Text | The “little unpleasantness” which has existed during the past few years between Colonel Fitzgerald and the Athletics, of Philadelphia, has become thing of “the dead past.” Those who had the pleasure of witnessing the meeting between “Hicks” and the Colonel on Monday last say it was quite a treat to see the hearty greeting and hand shaking that took place, all parties acting as if there had never been any difficulty, but as if there had been a long distance crossed to reach the place of meeting after a long separations. 'Tis well, so let it be recorded. |
