Text | The work of modification of Oriole Park is about to commence. Messrs. Houck and Barnie have purchased the house and lot at the northwest corner of the grounds, which will give additional room. The diamond will be moved northeast, the home plate resting in the vicinity of what was the ladies' entrance to the grand stand. The grand stand will be let down to the ground and a tower erected in the centre, which will contain boxes, besides comfortably accommodations for the press. |
