Text | Eggler’s suit against the Philadelphians was tried Sept. 26, and resulted in a verdict in his favor for $337.57, that being the balance due on his salary for the season of 1874. The defense was that Eggler had been engaged by the old unincorporated club, and not by the present stock organization. |
