Text | The Capitoline pond, at Bedford, will also be used for similar purposes [to the Union pond]. The ground is now being drained, and the work of converting it into ball grounds has been commenced. This ground, we understand, will not be let to any club for the season, but for matches only, which will, perhaps, suit the clubs as well. |
