Text | The Chicago plan of playing their pitchers alternately is a good one. With the hard work our pitchers have to attend to, playing in every game is too much of a strain. Look at the effects of it on McCormick, Keefe, Richmond, Ward, etc. Three pitchers are not too many to have in a first-class team, each with his own catcher. |
