Text | Yesterday [5/24] Fred Dunlap, late second baseman of the Pittsburg National League team, was signed by the New York Players' Club. Heretofore Dunlap has been paid a larger salary than any infielder in the business, and it was only because of the high salary he demanded that he did not sign with a Players' League club early in the season. Dunlap will make his first appearance with the Giants to-day, and will play short. |
