Text | [reporting the NL meeting of 1/30] The next question taken up was the applications of the Detroit and Baltimore Clubs for admission to the League. Mr. F. K. Stern represented the Detroit Club and Henry R. Von der Horst the Baltimore Club. After holding an informal discussion on the question of admitting the two clubs before mentioned, they quietly let the matter drop it was said that the representatives of these clubs had not made formal requests for admission. The League as it now stands will consist of ten clubs. |
