Text | The St. Louis Browns are working a cute trick right along. When an opposing base-runner is at second base the Browns' pitcher makes an intentional wild throw over the base. The runner of course starts for third and gets fooled, as the centre fielder, who has been posted, runs up on the throw, scoops it in and, nine times in ten, gets it to third in time to put the runner out at that bag. |
