Text	[an interview of John Day] The Metropolitans are a thing of the past, and the American Association cannot place them in this city again under their old name or under any other. If the American Association attempts to place a club in this city, it will break a clause in the National Agreement, and when they break a clause they smash the whole agreement. In case that is done, the League will put clubs in the American Association cities. Several League men will be only too happy, if this is done, and they would at once put clubs in two American Association cities.
