Text | One strong point in favor of the eight-club plan is that it takes the rule-making out of the hands of the man who has for years assumed it as a prerogative, and puts it where it properly belongs,–in the control of the men immediately interested in having the game successful, and whose practical knowledge of the proper methods is as great as can be attained. |
