Text | [Boston vs. Athletic 9/9/1872] Malone opened the sixth inning by a good hit, and was followed by Fisler with a good long hit to left field, which was almost captured by Rogers. Malone could have come home, but the crowd shrieked “Foul,” and there seemed to be no one to captain the men, so Fergy did not run. |
