Text | It is said the Athletic managers have been slow in paying their men, and that dissatisfaction has become general. The club has fifteen players, and not one knows when he is to play until a game begins. The directors are in a row with the president, with one another, and with the players and Philadelphians generally, and the players in particular are disgusted with the club and its management. |
