Text	[reporting on the stockholders meeting] The report of the auditing committee was next presented. The financial condition of the club was reported as follows: Receipts for stock, $4,900, with the addition of $100 collected on the last assessment of 20 per cent., making a total of $5,000; season ticket, $0 [?]; net receipts on games, $14,xxx.xx [illegible], making a total of $19,734.53. Disbursements, $19,503.36, leaving a balance of $140.97 to be accounted for. A shortage of $4 was reported on the game of May 5. the committee also found that the club was entitled to $135 from the Metropolitans, and recommended that this be looked after, as well as all indebtedness for the use of the ground. The committee concludes by saying that it is unable to find what is due the club from Mr. Phillips or what he owes the club, no account having been kept by the treasurer. The report of the committee was received and adopted.
