Text | [reporting on the Arbitration Committee meeting of 12/13/1886] Article VI was made to conform to the American Association Constitution so that a club could not resign from its association except during November. The Sporting Life December 22, 1886 minor leagues can sign players at the same time as the majors [reporting on the Arbitration Committee meeting of 12/13/1886] Mr. Dishler, of Utica, asked that the ten days of temptation, from Oct. 20 to Nov. 1, during which the minor leagues were forbidden to sign their players, be abolished.
