Text | [from Chadwick's column] The leading men in the players' ranks of the new League are making a great mistake, too, in their efforts to prevent a compromise between the rival capitalists, except on a basis which recognizes certain alleged rights of theirs which they claim are inalienable. The players should remember that they have had their innings this season and it has been a profitable one to nearly all of them, but only at the cost of the capitalists on both sides. |
