Text | Umpires of the Players' League have received a written communication from Secretary Brunell notifying them to the effect that... if catchers place their masks upon the base lines it shall be considered as a willful attempt to interfere with the runner, and the latter, in the event of his being put out, shall be declared entitled to a run. |
